Goronwy has performed for most of his life, in front of audiences of varied sizes across the world. He first appeared professionally at the age of 4, in The Dolls House at The Crucible Theatre, Sheffield (where the snooker is). He then retired from serious drama and decided to try to make people laugh instead and has done this in some form ever since!
He has appeared in cabarets, circuses, plays, operas, ballets, on stages, on the street, on land, on the sea, on concrete, on grass, at weddings, at funerals, in schools, in prisons, in hospitals, in theatres, in big tops, in films, on television and on radios across the world.
On the way he has been seen in thousands of shows and venues including on The Royal Variety Performance, at The Royal National Theatre, on Sunday Night at the London Palladium, at Just for Laughs, on BBC Television and Radio, on ITV, on Channel 4, with The Moscow State Circus, English Touring Opera, at Glastonbury Festival, Edinburgh Festival, Cape Town comedy festival, The Roundhouse, Leicester Square Theatre and multiple appearances in London’s West End and onboard leading ocean liners across the globe.
